Ex-Con Allegedly Rapes 15-Year-Old New Hampshire Girl

The U.S. Marshals Service is trying to hunt down a convicted felon with a long criminal record who allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl. According to officials, Robert Hanright sexually assaulted a young New Hampshire girl who was staying at his apartment with a friend on August 1, 2006. Police say the first night the 15-year-old was at the apartment, Hanright drugged and raped her. The teen told police that she awoke several times during the night to Hanright on top of her raping her. In the morning, the young girl woke up and realized she was wearing different clothing than she had been wearing earlier in the day.

Robert Hanright has a long rap sheet. He's faced 34 charges in New Hampshire, 19 charges in Massachusetts, a larceny charge in Maine and a shoplifting charge in Illinois. Hanright served time from 1992 to 1995 on a burglary and escape charge. Now, police say Hanright may be in Massachusetts, Maine or New Hampshire.
