Case Story

Man May Be Involved In Murdering 4, Including His Own Children

On Monday April 26, 2004, KCMO police were called to a house with the report of four dead bodies.  Cops identified the victims as 22-year-old Danny Green, his 21-year-old sister Veronica Orellana, and Veronica's two children, 2-year-old Omar Orellana and 1-year-old Gloria Orellana.  Cops could not locate Othmaro Orellana, Veronica's estranged husband and the father of the two children.  Cops could not find Orellana or the car Orlenna was known to drive. At this time, Orellana has not been charged with any of the murders but is a person of interest. Cops in Missouri would like to talk to Orellana to find out what, if any, involvement he has in a 2004 quadruple murder.

Cops have charged Orellana with stealing a car described as a green 1995 Mazda 626, bearing Missouri plates 839-WGN.

Is He Dead Or Isn't He?

On April 26, Kansas City authorities received a call from the last people they'd expect, Orellana's family.  They called to say Othmaro was found dead in El Salvador.  Considering the source of the call, cops are taking the information at face value. Kansas City detectives are currently working with El Salvadorian police to gather enough evidence to confirm that Orellana is in fact dead in El Salvador.  As of now, the case is still open.
