Is This Man After Nurses?

It all started on July 8, 2001 when Joni Manning's sons found her beaten to death at the house she was sharing with her boyfriend of eight months, Mark Wilson. And it wouldn't take that long for investigators to determine that Wilson could have been involved in Jodi's murder. Wilson had been linked to charges of domestic abuse in the past: in the mid-1980's, he was convicted of the attempted murder of his ex-wife. But being with an abusive man was not the only thing these two women had in common. Wilson's ex-wife is a white female who worked as a registered nurse. So was Joni.   

Wilson Takes Off

Cops believe Joni died of head injuries caused by a blunt object on or around July 6, 2001.  According to cops, right after the murder, Mark Wilson stole Joni's car, a 2000 gold-colored Mustang and drove away. On July 9, 2001, police found Joni's car in Kansas City, Mo. At that time, it was being driven by two men, which made police believe that Wilson sold them the car on the street. But even though Wilson is on the run, police say he has a lot of unique traits that can help people find him. Wilson likes to cook and drinks both wine and beer. Cops say that he smokes Menthol cigarettes and chews on the butts. He's almost always wearing Dockers khaki slacks. According to Joni's friends, Wilson is a good singer and likes to whistle all the time. Wilson has ties to Texas and Florida, but could be anywhere in the country.
