Police Seek Man Accused Of Abducting 12 Year Old Stepdaughter

Police in Mesquite, Texas are searching for James Roy Hudachek.  They believe he abducted his 12 year old step-daughter.  According to police, on Friday, September 3rd Jami's mom went to a football game leaving Jami and her 9-year-old twin brothers alone with Hudachek.  When Jami's older sister came home around 11 p.m. that evening she discovered the twin boys there alone and Jami and Hudachek were nowhere in sight.  That morning Jami's mother filed a missing persons report.  Later that Saturday she discovered a note written by Hudachek expressing romantic feelings for 12-year-old Jami.  She says in this letter he states he wishes Jami were his wife.  She also informed police that Hudachek, a part time pastor, was sexually abused as a child.  Hudachek's truck was found abandoned at work. An AMBER Alert was issued early Tuesday morning. Police say Hudachek is driving a black 2000 Ford Focus with dealer tags that expire on 9/25/04.
